The Middle Name Game

My friend Elaine tagged me for a Name Game, and since we've started home school this week, I've not had a chance to do any reading for, or research of a dead painter for my Friday posts "Passed Painter of the Day"...and since it is Friday...I'd rather play a game!

Here are the rules: Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

I've never really liked my middle name (sorry Mom, well....while I'm confessing, I've never been crazy about my first name either!) I actually dropped my middle name and started using my maiden name as my middle name when I got married...but for this game I'll use my given middle name, since it's the shorter of the two!

P- parent of two boys who actually did really well this first week of school!

A- always ready for my morning coffee!!!

T- the wife of a wonderful man

R- really loves to paint

I- interested in more things than I have time for

C- cooks as little as possible

E- enjoys eating the meals my husband cooks

Ok, you probably thought that name wasn't going to end, huh? Well, now I have to choose 7 other players...
Lorraine, Cathy, Pat, Kathy, Manuela, Lana, Wendy

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It will be our first one without a home improvement project in quite a while!

Hey there Suzanne!
Wow, I am so pleased to meet you! Thank you for visiting my blog. I am in total awe of your's! What a talented lady you are!
Thanks about the coverlet background. I actually found a picture online and made a background from it. I have one complete coverlet ( an older repro)and a handful of small pillows made from them. I LOVE them! I am putting your blog on my favorites list so I can drool over it more! :)
You have a wonderful weekend!

Well, thank you, Suzanne! Isn't that funny that we like so many of the same things.
I totally love the Mitford Series! I am trying to find all the books in hardcover. I have them all but 2 and looking everyday on ebay. I even have the Mitford Bedside Companion. When I got it, I was shocked to se that it was signed by Jan Karon. She wrote a nice little paragraph and put a cross by her name. I think I paid $2.99 for it! That sure made my day!
You have a blessed weekend!

Well poo! I must have hit the wrong button or something because your last comment is not showing up in my comments. So sorry about that! Makes me sad! I wanted you to know incase you didn't see it on there. I better be more careful next time. I thought I did it right, but I must have goofed. I had a "DOH!" moment! :)

Oh what fun...I love your middle name Suzanne...My mom's name is Patricia and my son's name is Patrick so we are fond of the roots of your name! What a relief for you to have the boys back in school and doing so well. I hope you are enjoying your quiet time in the mornings. :-) Susan

Hey Suzanne!

Thanks! Yes, that is one of the sheep I found at Goodwill yesterday. The tag was made for me by a friend, and I made the little punch-needle pin keep. It has a willow tree and a sheep on each side. Hard to see all that in the picture. :)
That little wall cupboard is a repro, but done really well. The paint is almost bittersweet and almost salmon. Weired, but it has a wonderful crackled paint on it. It's one of my favs. And all the little drawers work.
I hope you are having a great day!
Talk soon!
