Autumn's Arrival~ TEA's Webshow

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking successive autumns." Author: George Eliot

TEA's Webshow will be updated with new offerings, September 22, (the first day of Autumn!)......beginning at 9 AM Eastern.
Please click on the link above to visit all of the artist's pages and read a little about the group.

For the update, I've painted an autumn silhouette of an Oak tree, pumpkins and crows and a not-so-very-scary scarecrow in watercolor, both are my own designs. Please click on the link below to view the paintings on the 22nd. (you may need to refresh the page)

Inspiration for the silhouette came from our own backyard....minus the crows (although, we sometimes have Magpies visit).
Here is a photo of our pumpkin patch growing next to a Maple (not Oak) tree!

And here is a close-up of one of the pumpkins...the boys can't wait to carve them!

*Happy Autumn*

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's items in the morning ~ I already got a peek of yours, lol!

I wish we had planted pumpkins this year. I'm sure the boys will enjoy carving theirs!

Is that one of those funky green pumpkins (I love the white ones, too), or will it turn orange?

I love your painting of the crows perched on the pumkins under the old oak tree. It's just great, a cozy fall feel to it. Your unscarecrow is great too. Can't wait to see pics of the jack-o-lanterns you make with your pumpkins!

Fall is in the air.Your offerings are beautiful. And I know this first-hand because I just put my little miss holding the big pumpkin painting once again out for display. Her details are so delicate that I have her on a stand that sits atop my desk so I may partake of her loveliness up close!
And this Portraits, Poppets and Playthings I caught a glimpse of over at Lana's has me waiting in anticipation.

I was able to grow ONE pumpkin this year!! That's all! After I cut it off the vine it got all mushy inside and I had to throw it in the compost? I was really sad about that.
