S-t-r-e-t-c-h....ahhhhh

......a little more breathing room! Changing the template is a little like rearranging the furniture in your home. This might become a new addiction, lol! Hmmmm, I may just change it again next week!

The weekend was busy with getting my items ready for The Primitive Gathering update on the 15th. Here is a sneak peek at my very "humble" offerings. And with the help of some books and my online friends for support, I spent an afternoon teaching myself how to solder jewelry. When this is perfected, I hope to offer hand-painted charms in a few weeks. So stay tuned!

And "the man with the power tools", aka my husband was back to building this weekend. His thumb has healed nicely and he wanted to build us a bookcase or two before his "workshop" (the back porch) became too cold this winter. Here are a few photos of him in action! Now the next step is painting it.

Hi Suzanne...I like your new look! I'm tossing around ideas for my Christmas header. Not sure if I'll do Christmas or winter..I love Christmas, so that will probably be it!

I can hardly wait to see the charms. I know they will be beautiful.

The new banner looks great on the buff brown backdrop.I like the purple too. Did you know that in the old quilts purple was a fugitive dye and as the years passed it would turn a mellow brown.Yes almost like your background. So the purple on the buff brown is quite historic. I bet you knew that already.Just a little tidbit from a lady who spends too much time with old textiles. Susan
