Survey Says......

Thank you all (including my email list) who stopped by to enter the "Blog Guilt" giveaway.

Here are the two names drawn that were drawn:

~Bettye H.

~Lisa A.

I've contacted you both via email, so please look for your gifts in the mail soon!

Now, I have ONE more favor to ask. :-) ......

Notice the survey on my sidebar? (to the right of your screen.) Would you please tell me how you enjoy decorating your home?

Sometimes I feel like I'm all over the map with my decorating style. I love certain things from each category...... you may be the same way, and I'd appreciate knowing that in the comment section. Guess I just tend to fill my home with things I love, including people. :)

And, if I haven't listed a style you just 'couldn't live without'...please let me know about that too! "Shabby Teenager" is probably what style you'd think of if you walked into my home! :)

My style is hard to pin point.
I like anything from shabby chic to vintage to folk art to guys have taken over the house decor! :)

Ok, let me change that a bit... I don't necessarily like the guys have taken over the house decor, but that's what it looks like most days.
Jess and I will just have to move all our pretty girly things into the workroom / studio. :)

Hi Suzanne,
I want to congratulate your winners. Lucky girls!
And to be honest I love every single style you listed, in fact, I have decorated every one of them. I love the warmth of early American and primitive, and they were styles that I adored when I had them. I love the farmhouse style so much and the look I go for in my home now is romantic country cottage. But I am sure I will move through many more before I am done. hehe
So I can bet I was of no help whatsoever. I think a home looks good with a little confused decorating, don't you?

I had a hard time voting- because I like everything! I tend to go toward country/antique, but I also love the shabby chic look, beach cottage, and I am obsessed with the Pottery Barn catalog.... I think maybe I will start doing "theme" rooms- it will be kind of like walking from country to country at Epcot Center.... different color/time period/style for each one... wouldn't that be great?

I'm alot like you - all over the map! Both my husband and I tend to lean towards primitive country, I really think because it's affordable and looks all cozy and lovely. Although I'm not that far away from shabby teenager myself!

Hi Suzanne, nice to see you back in blog land again, I have missed your posts.

I love your new work below, so sweet, especially that adorable bunny. Makes me think of spring to see him.

I love to decorate my house too. I don't change things around too much, too often, just not me. I change paintings though, so I always have new artwork hanging in new places.

Funny you should ask. I have just been changing things here at the cottage. My style would have to be vintage/farmgirl/shabby chic. The kitchen is more vintage/farmgirl, the dining room and living room are in the process of being shabby chic/vintage. My bedroom, is well, a non-style. My bed would have to be farmgirl as the bedding is all from MaryJane's Farm.
