The Belle of the Fall
Do you ever have an idea....and maybe it seems like a silly idea in your head, but it stays there awhile until you have to do something about it?? (Maybe I'm the only crazy person who lets ideas roll around in her head until they drive me crazy and have to come out?!)
Well, Pumpkin Princess was one of "those ideas"....I WAS working on specials orders and she just kept coming to mind. (Yes, I will finish the promised special orders this coming week and send them out...sorry for the interruption; but it really is all HER fault).
She wouldn't go away.....so I gave in and I got out my drawing paper and pencils. I put her down on paper and thought she would be happy there....not so!
She HAD to be painted. And now she is in my Etsy (and my website) if you would like to visit her, please follow either of these links:
Just be warned, she is very persuasive and strong-headed, as well as strong-handed....she can hold up a pumpkin with one hand!
Now back to painting what I SHOULD have been painting all along...........
(oh, and I'll post pics of the bedroom sometime this week)

Suzanne she is darling!!! I love her. I am so glad she kept after you until she came to be. No one could have done her the justice you did. That's why she chose you, you know!
Thank you for all your visits to my garden. I love it when you stop by.
hugs to you from here...
Oh Auntie Suzanne!!! I love her, she is quite beautiful. I love this post too, I giggled through the whole thing.
I do the same thing, ideas rolling in my head, that is, not drawing beautiful things. I am glad you let her 'out', she was worth the craziness!
hi Suzanne,
She is BEAUTIFUL!! and i just LOVED her.
Have fun,
Julie
You are right... If an idea want to come out,you have to go for it
or else it dissapear.
Love your story about Belle :)
She is wonderful!
She is really beautiful. And no you are not crazy for having an idea that won't get out of your head! Those ideas that won't go away are how art is made:) Have a Blessed week.
Belle is perfectly enchanting Suzanne! I think she must be one of my favorite pieces of yours. :)
I just love her! I'm glad you went ahead and painted her- too often I've lost creative ideas because I put them off till later- I think she is worth it.
Hi Suzanne!
She's wonderful! Sometimes I have an idea that just won't quit until I actually do it - so no you're not alone!
Life is crazy right now. I looked through your past posts and I'm so sorry about Roscoe. I know hard hard that was as we had to do the same thing with our Cocker Spaniel Buttons a few years ago.
